10,000 Views... Thanks DA!

A couple days ago my page hit the 10,000 views mark! Thank you so, so much to everyone for stopping by, for reading my comics and sometimes even taking the time to comment on my silly pictures! When I first started here on DA, I was lucky if I got two hits per week. Nowadays I average anywhere between 6 and 16 views a day, and the number only continues to increase! 5-6 years ago, when I first started posting things to DA, I was really disheartened to see how few views I was getting. Don't get me wrong; drawing comics isn't a popularity contest and I've learned that having thousands and thousands of hits on DA doesn't necessarily mean you're an amazing artist. Sure, it's sometimes because you're an amazing artist, but sometimes it's also because you hand out llama badges like lollipops and has nothing to do with what you post to DA.

I've been around the internet long enough now I'm able to appreciate that having a slowly growing yet reliable readership is far better than being a one-hit wonder and disappearing almost as soon as you started up. And watching the readership steadily grow and not fizzle and die has been an unbelievably rewarding experience for me... not to mention something of a validation to me as an artist/writer that maybe I can get something right once in a while... and maybe, just maybe, there's hope for me that I can turn this into more than a hobby and something to earn a living off of. Maybe. 

For this milestone I wanted to feature all the main characters from both my comics standing together. Sarah from "Just Caitlin" really should be standing next to Caitlin if we stick to the height rule but I legitimately think she and Javiera (from "I Just Work Here") would get along really, really well and I wanted to draw them next to each other.
